As both a traditional and mixed-media artist, I enjoy how painting, photography, and digital techniques allow me to transform an imaginary world into a physical piece of work. My art is often a serendipitous discovery as I experiment with new subjects, concepts, and mediums.

The Lowcountry has been home for the past two decades, which is fortunate because I am truly inspired by these mystical surroundings. During my time spent in this beautiful place I have devoured its sights, scenes, and history. This has led to a deep appreciation of the southern gothic themes of nostalgia and a strong sense of place. With my most recent series, I am aiming to create a visual time warp to illustrate how time waits for no one … a fact that is especially felt among ancient live oaks, perfumed air, and decadent architecture of Savannah.

My path as an artist has been unique as I have been an attorney since 2008, attended art school in Eastern North Carolina, and taught art in New Orleans. I am currently enjoying the chaos of raising two young daughters in fair Savannah.

Please note that I have transitioned to a brick-and-mortar studio in Savannah’s Art Center at City Market so come visit and have a chat as I am no longer doing online sales other than commissions and digital collages. Cheers!
