This series is based on the concept “the call of the void” or as the French say, “l’appel du vide" which describes the mind’s momentary urge to embrace a dangerous situation such as stepping off the edge of a cliff. Although there is a morbid aspect to this concept, there is also a romantic element of beauty in one’s acute awareness of the fleeting nature of life. The series will be embracing both of these elements via sweeping panoramas with the viewer placed in a precarious vantage point. Enjoy!
